About
I was thrilled to work on the new design and revamping of it's website with a new modern look, as well as a unified branding and experience.
Problem Statement
The website wasn't in-line with the brand and didn't have a mobile-first design approach, meaning many issues would arise when browsing from a mobile device. Also, most of the libraries/frameworks were outdated/not optimized for modern web browsers—so these together posed as security and usability risk.
Project Goals
This website is a complete redesign of an existing e-commerce site. The goal of this project is to remove any distractions and simplify the browsing and buying process for our customers. We want to make it easy for them to find what they are looking for and get it quickly.
In order to achieve this we removed all unnecessary content from the home page, added more images and descriptions, and made sure that all calls-to-action were clear and easy to see.
Visual Design
The new website design is fully responsive with a mobile first approach and uses HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript based on Bootstrap v5 which makes it very light and modern.
A number of micro-interactions and animations were designed for website elements that are triggered on hover, click, or scroll. The idea was to make these subtle animations feel like they are part of the user experience and not just something we added because we thought it would look cool.
Screens
40+ screens with 35+ components and states. 70+ unique styled icons that fit the branding. High-fidelity fully interactive prototype created using Adobe XD.
